Apple Pie

I am not a fan of cooking unless it is quick and easy! For this recipe I combined two recipes I found on Pinterest ages ago!

If you are making it alone it probaby takes about 30 minutes to prepare and then bakes for 45.

Apple Pie

Crust:

1⁄2 cup oil

1⁄4 cup milk

1⁄2 tsp salt

1 1⁄2 cups flour

Filling:

3-4 apples (peeled, sliced,

1⁄2 stick butter (1/4 cup)

1 1⁄2 TBS flour

1/8 cup water

1⁄4 cup sugar

1⁄4 cup brown sugar

1⁄2 tsp cinnamon (Or instead of cinnamon and nutmeg 1/8 tsp nutmeg 1⁄2 heaping tsp of pumpkin pie spice) 1⁄2 tsp vanilla

Topping:

1/8 cup sugar

1⁄2 tsp cinnamon

1⁄2 cup flour

1⁄4 cups cold chopped up butter

To make the filling melt butter in sauce pan then add flour (forming a paste) add water, sugars, cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla boil for 1 min, reduce heat, simmer for 1 min and sliced apples. 

Make the crust right in the pie pan by combing all ingredients. And press firmly to the bottom and sides of the pie pan. 

Mix together all topping ingredients so it becomes crumbly. (Best when done with your hands, but gets messy!)

Add the filling to the crust and top with topping. Bake at 350* for about 45 min or until golden on top.
