Happy fall! It’s the most wonderful time of the year. Fall always brings my very favorite traditions. We recognize COVID-19 throws some curveballs with some activities, but we hope this list is simple enough you can still have fun while following local guidelines.
I always love watching holiday movies. My Halloween lineup includes: The House on Haunted Hill, It’s The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown, The Nightmare Before Christmas, and Hocus Pocus
I enjoy visiting a corn maze every fall. Our local maze, Cross E Ranch is one I would absolutely recommend. Our family has a tradition of visiting the ranch and participating in their fall festival. It will look different this year, but I’m so happy to see they will be open this year.
If you’re in the Salt Lake Area, visiting the witches at Gardner Village makes for a fun family evening. Make sure you grab a caramel apple while you’re there!
Of course if you live near the mountains, taking a fall foliage drive and going on a hike is an absolute must! I love walking around Silver Lake and hiking Willow Heights, both in Big Cottonwood Canyon.
And let us not forget about all of the treats. Whether you love pumpkin or apple, fall is the very best time for baking! Check out this recipe for simple pumpkin chocolate chip muffins.
